Actress. Born in Munich, Germany, she studied acting with Hilde Kรถrber at the Reinhardt-Schule of the Performing Arts. After making her stage debut in 1957 at the Theater Lรผbeck, she appeared in German movies of the late 1950s and throughout the 1960s. Sesselmann gained international recognition through her performances in two thrillers based on Edgar Wallace novels, "Das Geheimnis der gelben Narzissen" (1961), "Die Tรผr mit den sieben Schlรถssern" (1962).) In 1964 she married Ernst Henne jr., son of race car driver Ernst Henne, and withdrew from the public eye to care for her family. She gave one of her last performances in 1996 in the German crime TV drama "SOKO 5113." Two years later she died of cancer.
