Glenda Van Osdell Sanders was born in Baton Rouge and was a resident of Pride. She died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at her home. She was 63.
She is survived by daughters, Kimberley Montero Hunkin and husband Jeffrey Hunkin, of Prairieville, and Devin Sanders Roach and husband Scott Roach, of Denham Springs; a son, Marvin George Montero Jr. and wife Christia Montero, of Waco, Texas; sisters, Bonnie VanOsdell Smith, of Greenwell Springs, Debra VanOsdell Polito, of Baton Rouge, and Mae VanOsdell Chabina, of Albany; and grandchildren, Logan Montero, Mallory Montero, Kaelea Roach and Austin Hunkin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jamuel VanOsdell and Mildred Undine Riley VanOsdell; a sister, Helen VanOsdell Bazzell; and grandchild, Raven Hunkin.
