Former Nekoosa man killed at Janesville
Word has been received here from Janesville that Louis M. Barckley,formerly of Nekoosa, was electrocuted Saturday when he touched a live wire while repairing the telegraph lines after the big storm there....Mr Barckley moved to Janesville two years ago, during the strike at the mill at Nekoosa, and has been employed by the telegraph company of that city since. He had lived in Nekoosa for about ten years. He is survived by a wife and three children.
