**My Grandmother**

From Memorial Pamphlet:

Mildred R. Lipke
Officiating Pastor: Robert Payne
Services: Voran Funeral Home
Taylor Chapel
Services Tuesday April 1, 1997

She had ten children. Six of them, Johnny, Nancy, Donna, Jeanie, Fred, Mary Ellen (Midge) and Kenneth
have passed on. Children still living as of December 4, 2007, are Robert, Margie, Frank and Betty Jane.

She was the wife of the late Fred Lipke

She was my paternal grandmother. She had a tattoo that said "Gus" on her shoulder. As kids we didn't really spend too much time with "Gramma Lipke". I went to church with her on occasion and when I was older we moved from Michigan to Kentucky. She and I kept in touch occasionally by mail. I remember her visiting us once after she'd had her laranyx removed because of cancer. She would still sneak and smoke cigarettes through the little trach hole. Gramma passed away pretty much from old age.

Special thanks to George Newton for sending me a copy of Gramma's death notice!

My heartfelt thanks to Robert for sponsoring my grandfather's memorial! If you have a moment could you stop by and leave a token or flower for Robert's beautiful daughter, Deanna? Thanks in advance!
