Anna Charlotte "Lottie" (Dickey) Miller was the daughter of William "Will" Shaw and Rachel (Boyer) Dickey. She was the wife of Anthony Padua Miller. She was the mother of Harry Anthony Miller. Anna was the grandmother of Bertha Mae (Miller) Haight and the great-grandmother of Mary Jane Haight-Eckert.

Portland Mills Woman Is Dead

Mrs. Anna Miller, age 76, Succumbed at Home Tuesday; Resident of Elk County Past 54 Years

Mrs. Anna Charlotte Miller, highly esteemed resident of Portland Mills, died at her home in that place Tuesday afternoon at 4:2O o'clock, following a two weeks' illness. Death was due to pneumonia. She was aged 76 years, 1O months and 18 days.
Mrs. Miller was a resident of Elk County for the last fifty-four years, thirty-six of which were spent in Portland Mills. She was born March 7, 1862, at Fallen Timber, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be conducted from her late home Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be made in Thayer Memorial Cemetery beside her husband, Anthony P. Miller, who died March 26, 1926.
Surviving are five sons and one daughter: HARRY A. and Charles E., of Johnsonburg; William E., Clyde and Archie E., of Portland Mills; Mrs. F. Glenn Pontzer, of Hastings, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and the following sisters: Mrs. Martha McKenna, Monongahela; Mrs. Charles Ehrhart, Shrewsbury; Mrs. Walter Wolfe, Monesen, and Mrs. Mary E. Conway, New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

MILLER.--Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Charlotte Miller, who died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Portland Mills, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her home, Rev. Harry Agnew Silvis, of the Johnsonburg Methodist Episcopal Church, officiated. Two hymns, "Nearer My God To Thee" and "Sweet Bye and Bye" were sung by Sophie, Frances and Christina Sterbank, Merlin Cleaver and Anna Fink, of Portland Mills and C. W. Corbette, of Lake City.
Interment was in Thayer Memorial Cemetery in Ridgway beside her husband, who died in 1926.
The pall bearers were: four sons, Clyde and Archie, of Portland Mills; Charles and HARRY, of Johnsonburg, and two grandsons, Charles Miller, of Portland Mills and Byron Miller, of Cleveland, Ohio.
The out-of-town people attending the funeral were: Mrs. John Detwiler and son, Allen and Mrs. Jack Garrity, Johnsonburg; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duffy, Ridgway; Mrs Frank Deeter, DuBois; Mrs. Alex Ruddock, Homer City; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Keys, Falls Creek, and Mrs. Martha McKenna, Monongahela, Pennsylvania.
