Mrs. Ruth Josephine
Schwab Passes Away
(Yoakum Times)
Again the Times is called upon to announce the passing away of another one of Yoakum's citizens, Mrs. Ruth Josephine Schwab, wife of Mr. C. Delane Schwab, whose death occurred at the local hospital Tuesday morning at 8:15 o'clock. About two weeks ago Mrs. Schwab underwent a very serious operation and all that loving hands and skilled physicians could do was done to restore her health, but the death angel visited her room and closed her eyes forever on this earth and bore her away to that home above. At the time of her death Mrs. Schwab was in her 25th year and is survived by her husband and parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Burkett, three sisters, Misses Edna, Pauline and Dorothy, and two brothers, Messrs. Earl and Tom Burkett.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Baptist church this afternoon at 2 o'clock, after which the funeral cortege will leave for Shiner where interment will take place in the Knights of Pythias cemetery. Rev. Seabough of the Baptist church officiating. The Times extends sympathy to the bereaved ones.
