Ernest Earl Turner, 81, died May 27, 1986, of a heart attack.
Funeral services were conducted on May 29, 1986 in Grover, Wyo.
He was born on Oct 11, 1904 to Stephen and Mary Ann Michaelson Turner in Turnerville, Wyo.
He married Edna Anderson on May 24, 1928. They later divorced. He married Eva "H" Anderson on May 29.1953.
He was well known for his musical talent all his life. He played by ear and while performing with the Merrymakers Orchestra he beat the bass drum with his left foot while playing the piano.
After his retirement he served as the Grover correspondent for many years. In 1969 he helped Ed Peterson in hauling the mail from Afton to Alpine.
He is survived by his wife, Eva, Grover; five daughters Mrs Loran (Dixie) Herbert, Pindsdale, Mont; Mrs John L. (Kathy) Franson, Idaho Falls; Mrs Thomas (Jeanne) Jeremy, Highland, Utah; Mrs Ramon (Valoy) Egan, Jackson; Mrs Garry (Faye) Lee, Pinesdale, Mont.; one son Farrel Turner, Murray, Utah; two brothers Milton Turner, Afton and Louis Turner, Logan; 24 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held for Ernest Earl Turner today, May 29, at 1 p.m. in the Grover-Auburn Church.
Family will meet with friends at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service
Burial will be in Grover Cemetery
