Velma Frances Dunbar, 87, of Brownsburg IN, formerly of Mansfield, died at 9:25 am Saturday, March 15, 1997 at Brownsburg Healthcare in Brownsburg. Funeral services will be Monday at the Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home in Mansfield. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Dunbar was born Dec 26, 1909 at Mansfield, d/o George Franklin and Grace Elizabeth Primmer Dafoe. She married Howard Arthur Dunbar (1907-1985) on Sept 24, 1934 at Chicago. He died on Aug 9, 1985.

Surviving is one son, Steven, Indianapolis; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Curtis, Farmer City. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one brother.

Mrs. Dunbar was a member of the Paul Revere Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star in Chicago where she was a past worthy matron.
