The Rose Hill plat book shows only 2 people named Curry - B.M. Curry purchased 3 plots; one is empty, one is occupied by E.W. Curry and one is occupied by "Mrs. E. W. Curry" (WPA says Mrs. Ward Curry). The Calhoun County death index has Ed W. with matching death date. His wife Beryl is not listed in the Calhoun County index as she remarried, and died in another county.

With some of these facts gleaned in ancestry & family search, I think the mysterious Mrs Curry is Dorothy June Fargo, born in Calhoun Co 1917 or 1918 to Chester Dewitt Fargo and Ada V Smith Fargo. A marriage license indicates that she was wed to Ward Anderson Curry on 03.05.1934. She died soon after on 11.09.1934. Her surviving husband married sometime later to a Wilma. He is buried in Harris Co, TX.
So, in the 3 spots purchased by Beryl Curry, Dorothy's mother-in-law; Beryl's 1st husband, Edward W. (Dorothy's father-in-law), occupies one - Dorothy June Fargo Curry occupies one, and one is vacant. Beryl remarried and is in a different locale.
Dorothy was only seventeen. Death Certificate (now online) helps clarify information.
