Some of his other works included "The Green Meadow Club", "The Bedtime Stories Club", "Happy Jack Squirrel Saving Club" and "Now I Remember". He also broadcasted "The Radio Nature League" from WBZA Springfield, Massachusetts and wrote the newspaper column, "Bedtime Stories". By the time he retired in 1960, he had written more than 170 books and 15,000 stories for daily columns in newspapers. He died at the age of 91.
