Mrs. Eliza Keeling, wife of Joseph Keeling, a colored man living on Madison street between Ninth and Tenth, while engaged in work around the house, died suddenly yesterday afternoon, about 5 o'clock. She had complained of a very painful headache, but otherwise was in the enjoyment of her usual health. Physicians were sent for, but she died before their arrival. The symptoms, as described by neighbors, would seem to indicate sunstroke, but apoplexy is assigned by the attending physican as the most probable cause of death. The deceased was a young woman, 27 years of age, and ordinarily enjoyed good health.
