OBITUARY- The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, May 9, 1993

ECRU- Opal Rushing McPhail, retired nurse, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany. Services will be at 2 pm today at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun County with burial in McPhail Cemetery there. Swords Funeral Home in Ecru has charge.
She was a member of Cairo Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. McPhail leaves a daughter, Monema Cornelius of Ecru; a sister, Clara Fox of Memphis; three grandchildren; five great-grandchidren and a great-great-grandchild.
