Died, at 12:20 a.m., Friday, June 18, 1909, at St. John's hospital, of old age after an illness of seven weeks, Archie James Turner, of 922 South Fourteenth street, aged 80 years. Deceased was born in this city and has always resided here. He is widely known in this county. He was a carpenter by trade and for eight years assisted in the work on the state house.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence of decedent's daughter, Mrs. George Rodems, 922 South Fourteenth street. Interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. Decedent is survived by four sons, John, Logan, Edward and Archie Turner; also two daughters, Mrs. George Rodems and Mrs. Anna Clark, all of this city.

Mr. Turner is buried in an unmarked plot in Block 11, plot 25, W 1/2. His grave is to the right of the Grinstead stone which is in Block 11, plot 25 E 1/2. There is a small "25" plot marker in the ground next to the Grinstead stone.
