Aged 35y; typhoid fever. Youngest daughter of Sen. and Mrs. Shelby M. Cullom. Attended Bettie Stuart institute and obtained finishing courses in an eastern academy. Married Robert Gordon Hardie, a portrait artist, in Springfield. They moved to his home in Brattleboro, Vt., where they resided, but she died in Boston where he had a studio. Survived by her husband, parents, and sister Mrs. William Barret Ridgely.
