Lt. Col Joseph P. Seymoe of Waco, Texas was a Distinguished graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, class of 1948. During his career he was the recipient of The Distinguished Flying Croos (2), The Bronze Star with "V" valor device, The Air Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal, and The Purple Heart with Oak leaf Cluster. Joseph was killed in Vietnam while serving in the United States Army and is honored on Panel 35E, Row 8 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
