He was a retired businessman and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Chrystene Holiday Allred of the home; three sons, Ronald Allred and wife Elaine of Greenfield, Calif., Mitchell Allred and wife Lori of Huntsville and Justin Allred and wife Glenda of King City; two daughters, Denise Miller and husband Bobby and Diane McCoy and husband Jerry, all of King City; four brothers, Charles Allred and Russell Allred, of Greenfield, Calif., Herbert Allred and Kenny Allred, of Fayetteville; one sister, Ruby Hayes of King City; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kingston Cemetery with the Rev. Mitchell Spencer officiating.
Arrangements are by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.
