Henry T. Hargis, 88, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Henry T. Hargis was born Sept. 15, 1919, in Lafayette, Tenn., the son of Henry and Pearl Hargis. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Air Force, and retired as a major.
Survivors: Son, Terry Hargis and wife, Lois of The Colony; sister, Emogene Carpenter and husband, Billy of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; one nephew; and one niece.
