Died, on the 26th inst., at the residence of George A. Ballou, his son-in-law, Brice H. Robertson, aged 70 years, 10 months and 14 days. Deceased was a resident of Sangamon county for fifty-seven years, and of Springfield for thirty-nine years. He was united in marriage in 1836 to Demiris Buchanan, of Morgan county, who bore him eight children - five boys and three girls. He embarked in the grocery business in this city in 1860, and during the years that he continued in business had the reputation of being a strictly honest man. The funeral services will be held today at the Christian church. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
