Rev. Peter Van Nest was the son of John and Sophia Van Nest. He was the husband of Charlotte (Stanton) Van Nest. They were married April 1, 1810. Charlotte died December 13, 1844. Rev. Van Nest was a minister in the New Jersey Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
