Chester Hunter, 56, died Tuesday at 2 p.m. at his residence at 414 W. Washington St.
Mr. Hunter was born May 11, 1928, in Manchester, Clay Co., Ky., the son of Walter & Nettie Banks Hunter. He was married to Ada Gross Mar. 16, 1957, & she survives. He had been employed with the Delta Faucet Co., until illness forced his retirement.
Survivors include, in addition to his wife, his father, who resides in Manchester, Ky., three sons: Vernon Lunsford, Detroit, Mich., & Walter & Tom Hunter, both of Greensburg; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Brenda) Luken, Greensburg; four brothers: Harlan Hunter, Manchester, Ky., Charles Hunter, Jackson, Ky., & Lucian & Edgar Hunter, both of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters: Mary Jane Grubb, Manchester, Ky., & May Cox, Dayton, Ohio, & seven grandchildren.
The services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Browning officiating, & with burial in the South Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
