William Littrell, a resident of this city for the past thirty-nine years, died Monday afternoon at his residence, West Mason street, aged 42 years. He is survived by a wife and seven small children. The funeral took place at the residence at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. IL State Register, Springfield, IL, 12-25-1889
