Mrs. Matilda Turner, wife of A. Turner, died at the residence, No. 922 South Fourteenth street yesterday, after an illness of five weeks, cause by la grippe, aged 55 years. The deceased leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss: two daughters, Mrs. J. Clark and Miss Jessie Turner, and four sons, John, Edward, Lorenzo and Archie Turner. She was born in Ohio, and had been a resident of this city for thirty years. The funeral will take place from the Second Congregational church of which the deceased was a faithful member

Mrs. Turner is buried in an unmarked plot in Block 11, plot 26, W 1/2. Her grave is to the right of the Grinstead stone which is in Block 11, plot 25 E 1/2. Her husband is also in an unmarked plot next to her.
