Died, Dec. 22, at her residence, 229 North Seventh street, Mrs. Anna M. Schobert, aged 70 years, 4 months and 16 days. Mrs. Schobert was born at Rastede, Oldenburg, Germany, Aug. 5, 1821, and came to this country in 1848 and settled at Johnstown, Pa. She came to Springfield in 1849 and was married in 1851 to John Yode of Johnstown, Pa., who died in three years. Mrs. Yode was married in 1857 to John W. Schobert, who died about five years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, Mrs. John Alberts of this city, and two brothers, one residing in Germany and one at Portland, Ore. The funeral will take place from the residence today and will be conducted by Rev. O. O. Fletcher, pastor of the Central Baptist church, of which the deceased was a consistent member.
