ROY D. DARITY, 79, 2901 Nola Court, Duncan, died Thursday, August 6, 1992, in a Duncan hospital.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. L. T. Woodall officiating. Burial will be in Velma Cemetery.
Mr. Darity was born April 23, 1913, in Konawa, Oklahoma, to Benjamin and Doshaphine Darity. A retired Skelly employee, he had moved to Duncan in 1984 from Countyline. He was a member of Countyline's First Baptist Church. On August 20, 1938, he married A. Z. Steen in Clifton, Arizona.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Bennie and Joe Duncan of Duncan; and a granddaughter, Rowlena Duncan of Overbrook.
Bearers will be Gerald Darity, Harold Darity, Jim Duncan, Jerel Duncan, Bill Hosler and James Oliver.
Honorary bearers will be Lawrence Young, Conner Darity, Jeff Darity and Louis Darity.
