Mrs. Edna A. Barrow, 89, Rockmart, died Thursday, March 16, 2006. Mrs. Barrow was born June 22, 1916 in Polk County, the daughter of the late George and Thelma Brooks Austin. She was a homemaker and member of Rockmart First Baptist Church where she also served as a church librarian for over 30 years. Her husband, Mr. Jack Barrow, preceded her in death. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Sloan and Janice Barrow of Mount Zion, GA; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Milling of Daytona, FL; 2 grandchildren, Suzanne Carnes of Carrollton and Adam Key of Spokane, Washington; 1 great-grandchild. Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19th in the Chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Dr. David Taylor officiating. Interment was in the family lot of Rockmart Memorial Gardens. The following have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Ronald Brackett, T.A. Willingham, G.M. "Mickey" Spinks, Joe Bailey, Bill Carnes and Hunter Spinks. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral service.
