Died, Sunday, Oct. 4, at 3:30 a.m. at the residence of his mother-in-law, Mrs. E. H. Seeders, 401 North Seventh street, Thomas B. Clark, aged 55 years, 4 months and 5 days. The deceased was born in Lafayette, Ind. He lived in St. Louis fifteen years. Last March he had a paralytic stroke and he did not entirely recover from it. He went to bed as usual Saturday evening shortly after 8 o'clock and was in bed about half an hour when he was attacked by another stroke of paralysis, of which he died the next morning.
He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. S. A. Hensley of Pleasant Plains. The funeral will occur tomorrow at the late residence, 401 North Seventh street. The interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 10-5-1896
