Sunday February 8, 1942 Joseph Crockett Nance, 68, of Mt. View section, died yesterday at his home. Funeral services were to be held today with the Rev. T.P. Carriger, pastor of the Mt. View Methodist church, officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his widow, a son Lee of Mt. View; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Trail of Radford and Mrs. Virginia Davis of Pulaski; and three stepdaughters, Mrs. J.T. Newbern, Mrs. Roy Smith both of Radford, and Mrs. William Roseberry of Mt. View.
