Died, at the family residence, No. 1029 South Fourteenth street, Monday, March 6, 1899, at 10:30 a.m., of heart failure and apoplexy, Oliver H. Cook, aged 48 years. Mr. Cook was one of the best known contractors and builders in this city, and though he has been ill for some time past his illness was not considered serious and his death is very sudden and unexpected. Mr. Cook has been ill since September, 1898, but he has been confined to his room but a few days....

The deceased is survived by his widow, four children - Mattie, Myrtle, Howard and Ruth - his father, J. T. Cook, of North Manchester, Ind., and two sisters and one brother residing at North Manchester. IL State Register, Springfield, IL 3-7-1899

Oliver is in an unmarked single plot, shown by the windmill in the photo. Grave location found by using cemetery plot map. There are hundreds of unmarked graves in Block 21, the largest Block in the cemetery.
