SHELBY Mrs. Zannie Lee Cole Bell, 91, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 16, 1911, in South Carolina to Ager and Mattie Cole. Her stepfather was the late Hayes Ross.
She was a lifelong member of Long Branch Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a deaconess, a member of the Senior Choir and the Kitchen Committee. She was a member of the Eastern Star Electra Chapter No. 12. She was employed by the Jack Dover Family and Dover Mill until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pink Bell Jr.; a sister, Maggie Anderson and a granddaughter, Maria Elaine Bell Allison.
She leaves to cherish fond memories her daughter and son-in-law, Mattie and W.T. Roberts of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Pink and Lucretia Bell of Shelby and Bobby and Linda Bell of Lees Summit, Mo.; a sister and brother-in-law, Nina C. and George McKissick of Shelby; a brother, Jero Cole of Shelby; seven grandchildren, Sheila T. Roberts of Shelby, Tracie E. Donnell of Kansas City, Kan., Bryan K. Bell of Shelby, Bobby L. Bell Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., Sharon D. Bell and Angela F. Bell of Shelby and Joshua D. Bell of Lees Summit; 12 great-grandchildren, Kenosha N. Hall, Jawanza K. Hall, Andrea S. Hall and Shant J. Hall, Erika N. Warthen and Alex C. Warthen, Jordan A. Brown and Aaron C. Brown, all of Shelby, Aubree L. Bell and Gracen L. Bell of Kansas City, Mo., and Breanna L. Donnell and Fredrick L. Anderson of Kansas City, Kan., and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at Long Branch Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
