She attended the funeral of the writer, Fitz James O'Brien, in 1862.

NOTE: The grave-marker has a birth-year of 1827 & death-year of 1876. Her Death Certificate Transcription states that she died on March 7, 1877 at age 46.

The inscriptions for Matilda Heron and her husband Robert Stoepel are incorrect. Matilda Heron died in 1877 and Robert Stoepel died on 1 October 1887. Their daughter Helene Heron was married to the actor, manager & theatre owner; Henry J. Miller.
