Oscar M. Osborne 58 of Arkansas City, Kansas died suddenly at the home of his son Lawrence P. Osborne 138 North Ransom Street Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
He was the son of Ervin and Fannie Osborne, and was born June 23, 1891 at Mc Falls, Missouri. He has been in Ottumwa since July.
His wife Lula and son survive. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Jessie Mayfield of Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. Minnie Gray of Pueblo, Colorado; a brother Welmer Osborne of Kansas City, Missouri and his mother Mrs. Fannie Osborne, Wichita.
A son preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home; the Rev. S.R. Hanson of the Davis Street Christian Church will be in Charge.
