Mrs Virginia F. Cooper, 88, widow of the late W. H. Cooper, died yesterday at 1:50 a. m. at her residence 907 Tygart St,South Parkersburg. She was born near Parkersburg, a daughter of Elijah and Mahala Edwards Moss, and was a life long member of the Baptist Church. She had been in failing health for sometime and seriously ill for one week. She was preceded by her husband in death in 1937 and in 1943 by a son, J. Frank Cooper. Survivors included two sons Amos F. and Robert L. Cooper , both of this city; a sister, Mrs N. B. Richardson also of Parkersburg; five grand children;and seven great-grandchildren and several neices and nephews. The body was removed to the Leavitt Funeral Home, where services will be held tomorrow at 3:30p.m., with the Rev. Robert Moore officating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery .
