Air Cadet James Connor Lamb, 21, of Tampa, died from injuries received in a training plane accident 25 miles from San Antonio, Friday, his parents were notified. A graduate of Hillsborough high school in 1942 and an ROTC officer, he took a course in aviation electricity in Gadsden, Ala. and was a civil service employe at Brookley field before entering the army in March, 1943. He went into training to become a pilot In September, 1943, taking his primary flight training at Glendale; basic at Baker's field, Calif, and was taking advanced training at Marfa, air field when he was killed. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Connor Lamb, of Branch St. and a sister, Mrs. M. H. Ruggles of Tampa.
