MOS: 11B20 Infantryman.
Clarence arrived in Vietnam 11 September 1968 and was assigned to B Company, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division, USARV.
The company was in the vicinity of Chu Pa Mountain and 30 kilometers southwest of Kon Tum when B Company was engaged by hostile forces.
Clarence died as a result of gunshot wounds to the body from hostile rifle fire. The Army lost a total of 9 soldiers.
