He was a survivor of Titanic's sinking.

Born in Atlanta, GA, son of Edwin Nelson Kimball and Emma Cook. He was the president of the Hallet-Davis Piano Company of Boston. He was returning from a business holiday in Europe and boarded the Titanic at Southampton. He traveled with his wife and friends Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beckwith and Miss Helen Newsom. The Kimballs occupied cabin D-19. The Kimballs and the Beckwiths were all rescued on lifeboat #5.
