She was born in Bryan, Texas to Anna and Charles Campise. The family moved to Houston when Frances was four years old. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Joe Turano, Sr., her parents, Anna and Charles Campise; sisters, Josephine Candela, Theresa Vivirito and Rose Navarro Vento; and brother, Tony Campise. She is survived by two sons, Joe Turano, Jr., and wife Gerry of Houston and Charles Turano and wife Jo Ann of Dallas; eight grandchildren, Joseph Turano, III, and wife Lisa of Houston, Fran Danna and husband Michael of Houston, Nicholas Turano and wife Tammie of Houston, Gerrie Palermo and husband Greg of Houston, Jo Ann Turano of Dallas, Virginia Turano of Plano, Charles Turano, Jr., and wife Debbie of Dallas and Frances Jo Goethals and husband Michael of Dallas; sister-in-law, Rose Ardoin of Victoria; eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons, Joseph Turano, III, Nicholas Turano, Nicholas Turano, Jr., Michael Danna, Jr., Charles Turano, Jr., and Michael Goethals.
