Mary E. Henrich, age 97, died at Laurels of Massillon on Friday, April 4, 2008.

She was born on Thursday, February 23, 1911, and was a life resident of Massillon. She retired in 1972 from IBM in Akron where she was a secretary for over 28 years. For many years following her retirement, she was church secretary at St. Mary's. Mary was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church and a member of St. Mary's Altar Rosary, choir, AARP Massillon Chapter #3336, and a 1929 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy.

She is survived by a brother, Thomas Henrich; many nieces, nephews great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth D. (Dressler) Henrich and Edward M. Henrich; and four brothers, Albert, Charles, Edward and Arthur Henrich.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
