Loren Clare Albrecht, age 61, of Sheboygan died peacefully Tuesday evening, April 15, 2008 at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 30, 1946 in Peshtigo, Wisconsin to Loren C. Albrecht and Clara E. (Kehoe) Albrecht. He attended Peshtigo Elementary, St. Mary's Grade School, and was a graduate of Peshtigo High School, Class of 1964. He enlisted in the U.S. Airforce and served during the Vietnam war in 1965 to 1967.
On January 7, 1976, Loren married Kay L. Blohm in Marinette, Wisconsin. Loren was an extraordinary plastics engineer constantly working his way up in his field. Several plastics companies are continuing to benefit from his designs that are now patented, all in the co-injection field. Vernco, Braun & Hobar, Empak, and Bemis Mfg. are all places that have gained from his knowledge. Loren currently was the Senior Development Engineer at TecStar- MGS Mfg.Group.
He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Loren was an avid reader who especially loved science fiction novels and because of him that same love of reading was passed down to his children.
Loren is survived by his loving and devoted wife Kay of Sheboygan, his daughter and son and three beautiful, two brothers: (Living omitted for privacy)Loren is preceded in death by his infant brother and parents.
