Joyce M. Baker, 78, of Eaton, Ohio, died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 4, 2006, at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton following an extended illness.

Born June 3, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Leonard F. and Margaret (Tiderman) Glowe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepson, James E. Baker; a sister, Beverly Gill; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, Herman E. Baker, whom she married Dec. 11, 1956; children, Leonard R. Burrell of Eaton, Juanita M. Eades of Xenia, Ohio, Anthony Hasselman and Bonnie M. George, both of Dayton, Ohio, a stepson, Donald L. Baker of Eaton; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Figueroa of Cleveland, Ohio; and an aunt, Ruth Evans of Indianapolis, Ind.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, with Pastor Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Burial was in Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
