"There is a story concerning his death - John caught a neighbour pulling down the line fence to allow his cattle into John's grainfield. When the man found out he was seen he caught up a large rock and threw it and hit John over the heart. John died the same day presumably from the blow."
He was married to Margery Robinson and was my GGG-Grandfather.
