English Royalty. Countess of Devon. Born at Eltham Palace, Kent, she was the ninth child of Edward IV, King of England and Elizabeth Woodville. She married Sir William Courtenay, 1st Earl of Devon, in October 1495 and they had three children. In 1511 after her husband's death, she took a vow of chastity. She died at age 48 at Tiverton Castle, Devon and was buried at Tiverton Parish Church.
