Daughter of Seaborn Jones (mother's name unknown). She was born in Walton Co GA and married Levi Phillips Denson there on 13 October 1838. She and her husband, and probably their two oldest children, moved to Arbacoochee AL about 1844. There were a total of nine children born of this marriage: William Jones, Frances B., Serena, Tabitha Ann, James A. (Bud), Seaborn McDaniel, Julia O., Thomas Jackson, and Almeda Alue (Allie) Denson. After the death of her husband, she moved to Mississippi to be near her daughter, Tabitha Ann Denson Wheeler, where she died and was buried.
