Mrs. Edward (sic) Bohn, Resident of City 45 Years, Is Dead
Mrs. Edward (sic) Bohn, 67 years old, a resident of Fort Dodge for 46 years, died early this morning at her home, 470 north Second street, following a lingering illness.
Laura Manda Eagleton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Eagleton, was born at Cambridge, O., Feb. 14, 1873. Several years later she moved to Decatur, Neb., where on Feb. 26, 1896, she was married to Edward (sic) Bohn. Soon after their marriage the couple moved to Fort Dodge where Mr. Bohn was engaged in the building contracting business. He was also a member of the city volunteer fire department for many years. Mr. Bohn died March 6, 1939.
Mrs. Bohn was a member of the First Methodist church and also of the Royal Neighbors.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Hewitt of Chicago and Mrs. F. H. Bachert (sic) of Sioux City; four sisters, Mrs. Gates of Santa Rosa, Cal., Mrs. E. L. Freeman of Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. J. L. Fulbright of Grand Island, Neb., and Mrs. F. L. Hinks of Fort Dodge; a brother, George Eagleton of Decatur, Neb., and eight grandchildren.
The body is at the G. Marshall Young funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, pending the arrival of relatives.
