Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Carter was born in Rockingham County, N.C. to the late John Walker and Maggie Vernon Craddock.
She lived her entire life in Reidsville where she was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Canaanland Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jim and Bill Craddock; sister, Mary Shelton and grandson, Chad Owens.
