Mr. Goucher was born in Oregon, MO on January 13, 1933, he was the son of the late Gerald and Ella (Carr) Goucher. He worked as a salesman for Scholfield Brothers in Augusta and retired as a salesman of manufactured houses in Pahrump. Don served 4 years as Vice President Chamber of Commerce, Pahrump. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Four Square Church where he served 6 years as Board of Directors.
Survivors include: wife, Betty, Pahrump; sons, Randy Goucher, Leon and Charlie Goucher, Pahrump, NV; daughters, Marilyn McClure, Tricia Bassingthwaighte, and Connie Mead, all of Augusta; and Donella O'Gorman, Amarillo, TX; step-sons, Marcus Padgett, Downers Grove, IL and Darrell Keppner, Pahrump, NV; step-daughter, Verna Padgett, Pahrump, NV; brother, Lynn of El Dorado and sisters, Lois Chance, Bert Alfaro, both of Augusta and Kay Hill, Home, KS. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gerry Berger and 2 grandsons. Visitation 10 until service time at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
