William R. Blankenship, 68, passed away March 10th at Jellico Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday at Newcomb. Rev. Roe Chitwood conducted the services. Interment was in Hicks* Cemetery. Ellison's in charge.

*[Not sure why the obituary lists the cemetery as Hicks. He is buried in Douglas Cemetery].
