OBITUARY
- Mr. Charles S. Simmons of Buckeystown district died at his residence, near Buckeystown, yesterday morning at two o'clock of heart disease. The deceased was about 60 years old and leaves a widow and five children, all grown. His remains will be interred in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, this city, at noon tomorrow.

FUNERAL
- Charles S. Simmons, of Buckeystown district, who died of heart disease on Wednesday night last, was Saturday interred in Mt. Olivet cemetery, this city. The services which were held at the residence were conducted by Revs. Mills and Killgore of the M. P. church.
The following gentleman acted as pall-bearers: Otho Keller, William Chiswell, A. W. Nicodemus, Charles Thomas, Arthur Cromwell and Thos. Jarobe, active, and David Baker, Jr., J. T. Day, David Christ and J. I. Jamison as honorary.
The deceased was in the 60th year of his age. P. & A. T. Rice of this city undertakers.
