MARION - Keith Durand Law, 58, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, Oct. 21, 2006, at Marion General Hospital.
He was born Dec. 11, 1947, in Zanesville, to Eugene and Minnie Rainey Law. Keith served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He was the president and CEO of the Union Bank in West Mansfield and Belle Center, a member of Marion Moose Lodge 889, BPOE 32, the American Legion Post #84, and loved to cook and bake.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Whitaker Law of Marion; his son, John (Nichole) Law of Marion; five brothers; Paul (Jane) Law, David (Becky) Law, Alan (Kathy) Law, Gale (Lori) Law and Scott (Carla) Law, all of Zanesville; his aunt and uncle; Roger and Carol Fitz of Zanesville; his mother-in-law, "Granny;" his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Cletus Whitaker, Clarence Whitaker, Sandra Moore, Kathy Benson, Karen Coldwell, Marlene Oberdier, Roger Whitaker and David Whitaker; his five grandchildren, Jackson, Breana, Mikayla, Jonathon and Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home, 318 Mount Vernon Ave. Marion, with the Rev. Brian Law and the Rev. Marcellus De Oliveira officiating. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Marion County Joint Veterans Council.
