James A. Gailey Suffered Four Years—Burial in Baxter.

As a result of a spider's bite four years ago, James A. Gailey, 42 years old, living at Twenty-eighth street and Grand Avenue, died at 10:20 o'clock Friday night.

Soon after the infection from the spider, he suffered rheumatic pains in his limbs and body, and for three years was confined to his bed. He gradually lost weight and became almost a living skeleton.

Gailey is survived by a wife, three brothers and two sisters. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, of Baxter Springs, Kan., and his body was sent there Sunday afternoon for burial.--Joplin News Herald.
