Richard D Atanasoff, age 72 of Brooklyn Center and Humboldt AZ.

 

He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Coached Brooklyn Center youth football and baseball. Life member of Palmer Lake VFW post 3915 and Brooklyn Center American Legion post 630.

 

Survived by loving wife, Joyce, of 43 years; children, Patti (Bud) Hartfiel, Edward (Jaynie), Anne (Kevin) Knowles; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Lawrence J; sister, Elsie Parks; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Preceded in death by mother, father, and step-father; and sister, Lois Johnson.
